A Note About the Arabic Alphabet and Transcriptions
If you’re not familiar with the Arabic letters yet, don’t worry! We recommend learning them little by little — shway shway — as you go through the lessons. You can find the alphabet lessons on the link. Our beginner lessons include full transcriptions, so you’ll be able to learn vocabulary and grammar even without knowing how to read Arabic script just yet.
Also, if you're not sure how to read the numbers used in some transcriptions — like the 7 in 7elw (حِلو) — we suggest checking out this lesson first. It’ll help you understand the number system we use to represent certain Arabic sounds in writing.
